Original Ideal 35" Patti PlayPal Doll Blonde Pullback Orig.Mariners Outfit.
She is all original. Her dress is almost mint. It is still crisp with no issues or tears. Her shoes are nice but fragile so I don’t want to take them off. Her socks are nice but one is split down the middle in back. Her underwear are original but the elastic is gone in them. Her hair is kinda dry but still shiny and she isn’t missing any hair plugs and doesn’t appear to be cut. She has all her markings but the one on her back is one of the very very light ones. I believe she is one of the earlier ones because she is all strung with the metal springs. I have the patti playpal book and it does say the earlier ones were all strung with metal springs. I can send picture of that reference if needed. All her coloring on body and face is nice. The only issue I see is a cheek rub on left side. She is not mint but actually very nice example of an original doll. Ok now I have to make a statement. I don’t smoke and neither does anyone in my house BUT I got my moms collection when she passed last year and she did. Now this doll is from my collection but her dolls are in that room. I’m stating I don’t smell any smoke but a few dolls I sold about 6 months I had the buyers say they smelled smoke. So I don’t know if the smell from her dolls are making mine smell but I can’t smell it. I do have horrible sinuses. So it’s a risk I guess but she is very nice.
