Vintage Barbie Wedding Day Set #972 1959-1962

OUTFIT
This is an original Wedding Day ensemble plus a slip from
Pak Slip, Pants & Bra 1962-1963; the wedding dress is in pure white satin with an overlay of flocked and silver glitter accented tulle; the exquisitely crafted gown features a full double tier skirt with a train; the silver glitter tulle is very fragile; the tulle on the front bodice has torn and to keep it from tearing more, beading was added; the dress has the original two snap closures; all the other silver glitter tulle on the gown and white satin are in excellent condition; the pearl beaded veil is also in excellent condition as well as the bridal bouquet and the short white gloves; the slip was not part of the original wedding dress outfit and it has no damage; see photos
I am not a dealer. This wedding dress outfit is not from my personal Barbie childhood collection. I originally purchased it for one of my dolls to wear. My Barbie items are 50+ years old, so no item is new, never played with, but all items were loved and some were loved a little more than others so they will have more condition issues.
